HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! To the father you know, to the father that brought you into the world, to the father that provided financial sustainability, to the father that came to every game and recital, to the father that stayed up late to help with the project, to the father that showed up to the school, to the father that called when you were down, to that told you, you were beautiful and worthy, to the father that could do nothing but leave. All of your contributions to investing in bringing these humans into the world and to your effort to give what you had to invest in your children is appreciated. Thank you for all you've endured that you didn't get and were able to give to your children that you were or were not prepared for. Thank you for the late nights, early mornings, long hours, hard talks, coparenting, compromising, sacrificing, negotiating, tears, frustration, joy and happiness. Thank you for all the times you didn't hear it. Thank you for all the times you needed validation that you were doing the right thing. Thank you for being you.
